Getting to Castle Park
Situated in the heart of the town centre, with great public transport links…
…and close to Colchester Station we are ideally situated to make your event as comfortable as possible.
Disabled car parking is available in the High Street and Castle Street. Most areas of the Park are fully accessible on tarmac paths. However, as an historic landscape, some areas are only accessible by steps. These are the fish pond area, and inside the bandstand podium.
The closest car parks are Priory Street, or alternatively if you wish to access the Park via the north entrance, you can park at Leisure World. Further parking is available through our town centre car parks.
The main train station is North Station, and we are a 20 minute walk from here which is now guided by the Fixing the Link walking route.
Please note there is a 24 hour bus lane on North Hill (southbound – uphill).
