Built in 1898 and set perfectly in the middle of the town centre, this beautiful and prestigious building is rich with history. One can marvel at the prominent 162ft Victorian tower with the St Helena statue, Colchester’s patron saint, at the top.

From the moment your guests arrive they will be in awe of the beautifully decorated rooms with ornate and original features such as stained glass windows, oil paintings and murals, many of which are still used for their original purpose today at Mayoral and Civic events.
