In view of national guidance and advice, a number of events scheduled to take place across Colchester Borough Council venues have been deferred, rescheduled or cancelled. Further information can be found below including specific ticketing information for individual events.

Irish pop superstars to reach more fans than ever before as they embark on their biggest UK outdoor tour to date!

Westlife – the UK’s top selling album group of the 21st Century – will tour the UK in 2020 with their 15-date Stadiums in the Summer Tour.

The spectacular summer tour, which includes a date at Colchester Castle Park on Saturday 11 July 2020, will see the global pop kings perform all of their greatest hits including Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings and You Raise Me Up as well as sensational up-tempo songs from their forthcoming new album Spectrum.

Accessible tickets for this concert will be available on a first come first served basis. These will be available via the Ticketmaster website, or Ticketmaster’s Accessibility line on 0800 988 4440.


  • Gates 3pm


  • Pre-paid dedicated concert parking is available for £10 within walking distance of Castle Park at King’s Meadow, Catchpool Road CO1 1XN. This can be purchased with your concert tickets.
  • Parking is also available at Leisure World and across Colchester’s numerous Town Centre car parks.
  • Car park users can pay with coins OR use the cashless system MiPermit at all car parks.
  • Colchester Park and Ride will be open specially for this event!
  • Coach parking is available at Sheepen Road Lorry Park (Charges apply from 6am to 6pm)
  • Disabled badge holders can park for FREE for up to 3 hours in any bay with their disabled badge and clock on display.

No professional cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices
No glass is permitted on site
No chairs, blankets or umbrellas are permitted
Children aged 16 and under must always be accompanied by an adult
Dogs are not permitted except guide dogs – please make us aware in advance if a guide dog is required
All ticket holders may be asked to produce proof of age on entry to the concert and at the bar
Security staff will enforce the conditions of entry including undertaking bag & random personal searches
Persons who have consumed excessive alcohol will be refused entry
Fireworks, sparklers, lasers and Chinese lanterns are prohibited

Food and Drink
There will be ample food and drink concessions within the concert site.
No food or drink can be brought onto the site unless dietary restrictions are in place
Any alcohol purchased at any of the bars within the venue must be consumed on site and not taken out of the designated event area
There will be a Challenge 25 Policy in place for all alcohol sales

Toilet Facilities
Designated male, female and accessible toilets will be available on site

Smoking and Drugs Policy
There is a designated smoking area outside the concert area, smoking is only permitted within this area
There is a zero-tolerance response to illegal drugs and New Psychoactive Substances (NPS)
Police officers will be on site and any person found in possession of illegal drugs or NPS will be passed to police for arrest, and possible prosecution
You may be searched at the entrance. Any items, which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities onsite may be searched.
